Pulling with Power Puck

Pulling with Power Puck
I just put a power puck on my 01 Dodge and pulled 700 miles round trip down the interstate. I must say I had no trouble going 70mph on level interstate pulling my 27ft 8,500lb 5th wheel. My ? is I have no gauges and my friends told me with stock exhaust I will kill my turbo due to the heat, is this true. Pulling 8,500lbs with no hills will my EGT get that hot. I cant afford gauges and will soon be going to Colorado, do I need to unhook the power puck before pulling my camper?

any time you add power its best to know exactly where your egt are, guages really aren't that expensive fuel pressure and pyro at a minimum. consider the cost of these engines

I agree with gunnie there look arround the web, inspro sells a 3 gauge kit for about 150 to 300$ not to bad. if you try to buy everything seperate looking at a lot more $ but the only problem i have heard with the inspro kit is the fp gauge sender like anything electric dont last long.
