Not yet, and I have been looking HARD. A friend asked me the other day if there is anything I don't like about my Dodge. I said the shift points of this 4 speed auto is absolutely irritating at times. The overdrive shift is the one that gets me. Happens waaaayyyy to early. I would be willing to pay good money to change that overdrive shift to about 53 or 54mph when accelerating with RPMs below 1800. Above 1800, earliest overdrive shift at 60mph. That would be about perfect.

I have also talked to the trans techs at both dealers up here about it and both have said they don't have the ability to adjust shift points. My 95 12 valve Cummins did give you that ability, and I took advantage of it. Nice feature to have.

Hopefully somebody will do it, eventually, and I'll be waiting right along with ya.

I just had the ATS Commander installed on mine. But, I have the ATS torque converter and ATS valve body. I do believe that you will need too, at the very least, upgrade your valve body. I had Rick at Daves Diesel install mine, night and day difference, much smoother shifting. Rick really liked the ATS Commander, thought it was the best of the bunch that he has seen so far from ATS or other manufactures. He also carries the BD Power unit.

Call Dave's Diesel at 1-260-665-5396 ask for Rick.

I have been told many times that the Commander only changes the point of lock-up, and does not manipulate the shift points at all. Is that now not the case?

It is just the lock up. But the tranny shifts allot smoother and firmer (not harsh). That is why I said to give Rick a call at Daves Diesel. He does allot of tranny builds, this would be the guy to talk to.
