Problems

Hey guys got a problem,
I'm loosing power, along with whitish grey smoke. I checked the timing and I'm at 1.45mm with the snap on tool. I noticed a slight miss at idle. I checked all of my piping and even hooked up shop air to it and no leaks. But I cannot spool over 15 with the wastgate hooked up, I was able to hit 22 before. I have good fuel, psi to the pump, my filter is not clogged(changed it with no fix). From all of my experiance It sounds like timing, but once again I'm on. I'm kinda thinking I've got an Injector sticking open. But foot to the floor I cannot get over 900*. I'm at a loss on what could be going wrong, Also no head gasket issues, no exhaust gasses in the cooling sys, no coolant in the oil, and not a bunch of blow by, so I believe the rings are good.
Thanks in advance
Justin

I'm not going to totaly rule out a head gsk, but all of the tests I did today said it wasn't the case, But I will run some more tests and see if it's the problem. BTW, it doesn't sound like that, but I'd like to down load that to my phone if I could figure out a way to, lol.

Yhea, I called the my snap on guy today and he orded me an adaptor for our trucks, I've got the guage with my D-max kit, just don't have any adaptors for our trucks. I'm going to test It when the tool comes in, he said maybe 2 weeks? I may go over the Dodge dealer and ask if I can barrow theirs, I've helped them out alot with all of their used gm vehicals, I may call in a favor.

And even if you emailed that to me I wouldn't have the slightest Idea on how to transfer it to my phone.

"Wannadiesal" I pooped my pants when I read your post, I'd like to report my pump is good. I started diggin around and found my "AFC" hose/pipe had a crack in it, well almost broken in half. I can clear out 3 lanes of taffic with the black cloud now, went to napa and made my own. By no means is this an "I told you so" please do not take it like that, You have so much good info for our trucks, and I don't want to **** you off, just wanted to let you know I'm good, and thanks for the info.

Believe me, I'm glad to be wrong. I don't like to tell anybody that their pump is dying. The white smoke and miss at idle is what threw me. Has that cleared up - or was the "miss at idle" due to you being nervous about the health of your truck? I know that when I think something might be wrong with mine I get hypersensitive to every little noise and shudder.

Well BD has told me my injectors will haze at idle, the "miss", I'm still not sure, I kinda think I got an Injector sticking. I'm pulling them out tomarrow and putting another set I got layin around in, and see if it clears up. The miss is not totaly droping a cyl. just a small vibration. So I could be my timing up to much? I'm not sure, I'll get the injectors in and see what happens, I'm not to worried about it right now, it's running good enough.

I have yet to check my plug wires, and I may run my split fire pluges up to .0050" rather than the .0035" I have them set at currently. And my dwel may be off just a touch

Now if that's not funny then you have something worng with you.
