Problems

I was driving to work today and as I was driving going about 55 the motor seemed like it cut out for a quick second and then went back to normal and It kept doing it. The motor just made like a different pitch like you let off the throttle. The fuel filter has maybe 1500 miles on it. Could it be a bad connection at the fuel shutoff solenoid? And then it started to make this really high pitched sound. I don't know if the two problems are related. Any help is appreciated.

Try to purge you're fuel filter to see if there is any air trapped inside. If I were to take a shot in the dark you might be sucking air into the fuel system due to a weak lift pump. That will affect how the motor sounds. It's a long shot but worth a try. Jethrro

Well I have a piston lift pump on that is about 3 weeks old so I hope thats not it. It has a new injector pump on it. I had a hard time starting it due to a leaking injector line, but I fixed that. I was a little more difficult to start this morning, but it wasn't bad. Maybe I'm sucking air in from somewhere else
