Question Problem

So I'm driving down the highway and the truck seems to be doing fine. Then I went to pass a car and it tried to stall, then grabbed and threw us forward. Now when I hit the pedal even 50% it acts like i am pushing on the pedal, then lettin go, then pushing on it, then letting go. It has a horrible on/off feeling of the throttle.

I just had the tranny checked, and all is well, but could it possibly be a fuel problem or ? What do you guys think?
THANKS!

Possibly the APPS? I guess resetting it may be worth a try.

Since I just had to replace my batteries, this may be the problem. It might have gotten messed up when I was putting them in. I'll try her tonight. Anything else i should worry about?

Thanks a ton guys!

With this kind of thing, it's either the APPS or the VP pump. Pray it's the APPS

A new VP will run ya between $1200-1800. I've heard they aren't that hard to install but I dunno and I'm hoping I never have to find out (knock on wood).

Installing a vp is not that hard. You will need a large torx driver to change over the brackets on the vp. I recomend buying the factory manual as the procedure and all the particulars are in there. It took me about 3 hrs to change my first and that wasn't rushing.
