probelms with 06 ctd
a few weeks ago i went to the beach and ran extremely low on fuel (diesel is hard to find on the beach) but i jumped a curb getting into a gas station when i finally found fuel. I shut the truck off and fueled up and it would crank over but not start so i figured i fried the lift pump by running low on fuel. I had the truck towed to the dodge dealer because the pump was supposed to be under warranty, but the told me it wouldnt be and wanted $1000 to put a pump in it. I wound up picking the truck up and figured out that the pump wasnt bad. but im not getting power to the pump. i checked my fuse panel with a test light and most of my fuses are getting power even with the key off, but when i turn the key on, the ones that are supposed to be getting power are not. I rigged it up temporarily until i can figure it out by running a wire from the battery to the fuel pump fuse with a switch in the middle, but its annoying.. I was driving about a week ago and hit a big bump and everything straightened out for a few days, but then i took off hard and it messed up again. The dodge dealer is telling me that the fuse panel is bad but they want $700 for it, it seems to me like i have a loose connection but i cant find anything. i just hate to go spend $700 on a fuse panel if its not bad.

If you have an 06, it's not a fuse panel, its a TIPM (totally integrated power module). Prolly why it's $700.
Did you actually believe that you still had a warranty with all of those mods?
