Pro Comp Tires

Howdy! I'm looking at a new set of Pro Comp Xtreme AT tires in 305/65-17 E size. Have any of y'all tried these tires? They are 32.6" tall so I shouldn't have to have my tire size re- programmed. Do they balance out well? How is the noise? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I`m running the 37X13.50s , and they balanced well and ride great....they also appear to be wearing good , and are very quiet.

I've got the 35x12.5R17 Xterrains on my Bronco. Lots of offroad, but not lots of actual mileage on them. They seem to be decent.

If it were me I'd get some 285/70/17 instead of the 305/65/17. They are the same height, just not as wide.

I'd wait until June 1st to buy tires. I just got this flyer about their promo coming up. It should save you $75 on the set.

They have a promo running right now that is just about the same. The salesman told me he would go ahead and knock a hundred off.

Pro camp has buy 3 get 1 free a couple x a year too.
I've had every Pro Comp model except the Xtreme AT.
Had the Mud Terrains, 33's on a 2nd Gen Ram. Got about 35k mi, probably could have gotten 40k with better rotations, all curvy hiway mtn driving (hard on tires).
Had a set of All Terrains 265s on a DMax. Good at tire! Had 30-35k mi on them when I sold the truck and they had at least 15k more summer miles left on them, wore great and evenly. Real good in the snow when they were newer.
Had Xtreme Mud Terrains on my Mega this winter. Great mud/deep snow tires. Better than AT's on the road (snow), not as good as dedicated snow tires (obviously). Put about 15k mi, all mtn highway miles. Outside tread about 50% left, inside tread, about 80% left. Will run them opposite side out next winter, should get another winter out of them no problem.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy any Pro Comp tires.
Never any balancing problems with them (unlike BFG's).

I went ahead and bought them today. I got $100 off. So far I like 'em. They balanced out nice and they are pretty quiet. They are a directional tire, I don't know if this will create any problem rotation wise. I know, just rotate them front to rear, sometimes you get better wear with them ending up on the other side. They look great! My old Michelins were wore out with 52,000 miles and were getting a little squirrelly. I didn't really notice how bad they were until I got these, add the new tires to the new steering box I got the other day and it's like getting a new truck!

I have the exact same tires on my truck and love them, they are wearing great and stay nice and even with the rotation front to back only. My only warning is to keep the air pressure up on the front or they will get very uneven wear, typical for all ProComps I have had. I run 60psi in front and 55psi rear with perfect wear and best mileage.
Hope this helps.

Thumbs up pro- comp extremes

The only thing wrong with them is they suck in the Sand, and sand dunes, orthwise great tires made by Cooper!

I used a buddy's GPS to check the speedometer and it is dead on. With the factory Michelin 265s it was 2 to 3 MPH fast.
