A newby to the site but love it. You folks sure have some great information here. Just bought my first CTD. '98, 2500, towing package,4.10 gears, stock, 82,000 miles.<br><br>Want to do most routine maintenance. Started with oil and that crazy fuel filter (finally completed). After wearing out my thumb and fingers, not to mention a cramp in my arm, I realized that a 3' piece of 1&quot;X2&quot; reached down there real nice and primed it right up in no time. Just need to watch out not to damage the rubber boot. A broom handle may just work as well (Dodge part number unknown). I did notice that the idle rpms dropped from just shy of 1K to about 850. No trouble starting. Is this drop from a cleaner filter or something else. It's been only cool here in Wisconsin lately (20-30F).<br><br>Great site. Keep up the good work. Soon a KDP repair.<br>
