I have seen several photos of 24v trucks with that sharp looking red Valve cover. I've never seen one for sale anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get one and about how much they cost. Thanks -Dave

I believe you have to order it from Cummins, around $125 I think. Do a search and you can find a part # for it some where on here.

~chuck. :)

For the "Under-Valved" bunch.
I understand they will engrave whatever you want if you're not into the "Woop" message.

I painted my own valve cover red. Looks sharp. Especially with a black outline around the sides of the letters. I'm waiting till I get some free time and then I am going to polish the lettering up. It looks very nice and cost me about 5 bucks. Had to buy the paint. And yes, I got Ford red. No cracks.

It's not quite Cummins Blue, but it is darn close. Notice how he also got rid of the "Dodge" on the left side of it. [laugh]

http://www.lstdr.org/Events/rallypics/images/DSC00833.JPG

Andrew

Thanks For the number Chuck3 :)
I had been thinking about going the blue route as well, only problem is that I would need to keep the eng comp clean after I painted it.

Ryan, what color Blue is your truck? I've got the dark midnight blue color. If I had the light blue, I'd do it that way but I don't think the dark blue would show up that geat. But then again, it might give off just the right hue.
