Pressure ratings I've seen for aftermarket valve bodies
So, here are the pressure numbers and such for different valve bodies that I know of. Correct me if I'm wrong and let me know if I miss a feature... and I will I'm sure!
BD- either 100 or 180 psi apply pressure and 2nd (3rd?) gear lockup ability.
DTT- the highest I've read for them is 180 psi. Multi-gear lockup?
Suncoast- no idea on the pressures. Anyone that have one know? I do know they charge the converter in park.
Dunrite- 280 psi (!), Lockup in any gear
HTS - 200 psi, Multi-gear lockup?
Any builders that I missed? I'd love to know!

Yeah, Goerend is around 175-180psi max. That 280psi figure for Dunrite seems way too high.
I wouldn't really worry about the max pressures with any of the big 4 or 5 tranny builders. Most seem to run around 180psi and with a good triple disc TC that will hold plenty of power for even the most hardcore guys. Higher pressure doesn't always mean better. The higher the pressure the more chance of internal leakage (I assume anyway).

Looks like my #'s were close. I just heard the Dunrite did 280 by word of mouth, not through Tony. What about some of the other features beyond pressure? Can we get some input to compare what some have and what some don't?

973604X4, yours is just a single disk???
Um, thats pretty cool. I wonder what makes DTTs so much better. Dunrite said don't put more than 450 to his single disk?? I e-mailed DTT last week and ant heard anything back, tomorrow I will just call.
Goerends what a HP recommendation on how much his single lock will hold???
