How is pressure increased indirectly?
It was explained to me that pressure is increased indirectly on some of the Diablo Predator tunes. Can someone explain the difference between direct pressure increase and indirect pressure increases? I am totally confused by the indirect statement.

The indirect method I believe is with the ECM raising the rail pressure due to the longer duration that's in the program. With the longer duration the rail pressure will drop and the ECM will compensate for the drop.

I assume it's with the programming algorithm. The ECM reads the rail pressure, and the longer duration at WOT the rail pressure will try to drop, and the ECM will compensate by increasing the pressure.
With the longer than stock duration that a programmer provides, obviously the rail pressure will go a little higher than stock.
