Predator milaege seems awesome, forced driving habit change

I now have a predator on the non stack RKL 180/280 tune. My clutch did not last at all. So I am not flooring it all over like I was with the Superchips. Somewhere between 1600 and 2000 RPM, a big, short, puff of black smoke will come out if I give it half throttle or more. So I have been driving lighter to avoid the ball of smoke and not getting on it because of the clutch. It is taking forever to get to the halfway full line on the tank. I will report back when I fill up & hand calc. the MPG's.

Its the truth man dead serious and mike L and i talked about this 2 weeks ago and we both kinda agreed that it probably isnt the pressure in the tune its all the timing and duration and he was suppose to get with johan about these issues and see what they could do and havent heard from them since seems they are too busy working on hemi's for the past two months. Bullydog is fixing to replace my diablo for good as soon as buddy gets that pressure added.

That is creepy. I did not install the puk so I figured I was injector safe.

Your clutch should hold just fine on the extreeme setting just as long as you wait until 2100rpm to got WOT.

Thats how my truck is. As soon as I got the Smarty and started playing around It started slipping bad and was ready for a new clutch until after some test and tune discovered it only slipped If I went WOT from 1500-2000 but it held strong if I waited until 2100 to go WOT.

Well Its been 14 months since it first started slipping and its still holding strong and has been to the dyno twice and drags once.

So if you need to save up a little and still want to play put it back to a higher setting and just learn how to keep it happy.

It really work's!!!!

I've been running around for over a year with the Smarty permentally on #7 stacked with a MP-8 which occasionally gets cranket up to 75-100% and a II Silverbullet and YES it still holds all of that power just as long as you wait until 2100 to go WOT....

I am running the extreme RKL, non-stack. I have not looked at the options for the stack tunes yet, but I think there is a stacked RKL tune too. Were you on the stacked RKL or non-stacked RKL tune?

What the heck does RKL stand for?

RKL stands for ROAD KILL LARRY but we tried the stacker tunes to stack with some boxes and the power is not what expected the non stacker pressure is still in check with even a agressive pressure box so that wasnt the problem. Thinking its the timing and duration they have in it.

I may go to the 160/230 tune this weekend and see what I think. Did you ever run that one?

Nope im done with the diablo for daily driving track use only for now. Back when the diablo had the on-the-fly i would turn it down but since the r16 and these issues its only a track tune.
