I had a custom tune on my Predator. I restored original back-up to bring the truck to the dealer.
I have been running with the puck on high by utself for some fuel mileage testing and decided that I MISS THE SMOKE.

Well I went to install my custom tune and it is no longer on my PRedator.

I still have it on my CPU so I am not worried but my question is this:

Will I have to reinstall the custom tune to the predator every time I want to restore the original program?

reb was the dealer able to detect your predator when you took it in. and do you have gauges and pods on your truck did they say anything to you.
i am looking into putting a predator on mine but worried about voiding warranty. thanks

Yes, i used to have the same problem with the custom tune erasing itself after loading the stock tune.

I don't know if they noticed it or not. All I went in for was an oil change. I took it out just to be safe in case the dealer would have done any updates (YEAH RIGHT! LIKE THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING W/O being asked or BEGGED). I Have never had any engine trouble on either my 03 or my 05 anyway. it was always interior issues or pinion seals!
