Power Windows and AC problem

I'm perplexed and hoping someone can shed some light on my issue. I had a problem w/ on of the main fusable links under the dash going out ... and ever since ... my power windows and AC / head (blower motor) won't work.

I've checked power at fuses / relay's under the dash they all check fine, but for some reason i don't have power to those 2 fuses under the dash, i've inspected all the wiring and can't find anything. There are 4 fuses that are fullsize fuses in the incab fuse block, the power seats fuse has power, but the blower and windows don't have power ... am i missing a fusable link between the distrobution block and that fuse block somehow ? Could it be the ignition switch ? ... The radio and all other acc. seem to work fine.

I also pulled codes and got 12 and 42 (12 is the code about power disconnection w/in the last 50 keycycles to the PCM) and 42 is the ACR relay circuit has a fault / open. Any relevance ?

All signs point to ignition module ... replace ?

Thanks in advance !

My first guess would be the key switch or the wiring to it.
Sometimes tilting of the steering wheel will pull wires out of their connectors.
A larger sized blue wire should be the one.
Napa has the switch for about $30, you will also need a small security torx bit to remove the switch. Sorry don't remember the size.

Sweet .. Thanks for the reply .. i'll pick one up tommorow ... unfortunatly i have a 95 which means i have to remove the steering wheel to swap it ... but i have the tamperproof t20 already ... just gotta have enough time to pull the wheel. Hopefully i can get it done this weekend (Full DTT tranny being built this weekend, i can't wait!)

No need to pull the steering wheel on a '95, just remove the steering column cover, two torx from the bottom.
Disconnect the batteries. Pull the electrical connectors to the switch. With the key in the run position remove the small security torx screw on the switch side and pull the entire switch assembly out by the key. The security torx is very small, perhaps less than a 10.

After doing this you'll wonder why more of these trucks aren't stolen, getting past the key is very easy.
