I did the electric window mod by pulling the fuse from the windows and made a jumper wire which runs from the electric seats and plugs into where the power window fuse was. I went on vacation and my truck sat for about eleven days and when i went to start it this morning the battery was completely dead.
So i'm thinking that with this set up there is some current draw somewhere. Any body else have this happen to them.
I have let the truck sit this long before I did the jumper and battery was fine.

I would suggest to charge the batterys and then have them load tested and go from there. Goodluck,,Rick

There was a discussion a while ago that the light in the window switches will stay
on all the time with this mode I can't imagine that would drain a battery in eleven
days, but seems like a likely canidate.

What I did was put an inline 20amp fuse from the one side of the radio fuse to the
window. Works good.

The light in the windows switch stay lit up all the time... That will kill the battery...

Yup. Those lights DO stay on and they will nail your battery.

How will that power your windows? (i mean when is it passing +12vdc?) Only when the key is on?

Yes, that is what happened to me. I changed it back to stock form until I figure something else out. I might try the map lights being they are only on when the door is open and that should shut down everything when the door is closed.

I got my wired up to off of a fuse cavity that is on in ACC/ON, at least this way I dont have to turn the key to the RUN position.

The will put power to the windows whenever there is power to the radio, like
when the key is in the ACC position.
