power window/blower motor circuit revamp??

Well ,I am fliping through the pages of my FSM trying to make heads and tails of these wiring diagrams.
The #11 (A/C and heater blower motor) spot in my fuse block is a tad melted. Also after doing some nosing around I noticed at that 2 wires at the ignition switch plug where cracked and the plug has burn or hot marks on it. 1 is pink/black tracer (I think power in) the other is black/orange tracer(power from switch to fuse block spots # 11 blower motor and #12 power windows).
Now my question, can I reroute power/improve circuit by using a power distribution box from a Ford as outlined in the sticky or just do the relay upgrade to blower motor and something similar to the power windows?I have the dist. Box already and planned on installing it anyway for a plow and a few other things.

P.S. I am VERY inexperinced when it comes to electrical especially vehicles

Wink part 2

OK, after disecting a spare harness I had here, I have 2 questions:

1. Is there any reason why I can't route constant power to the lug in the fuse block to power previously stated circuits/will doing so remedy any thing?
2. Are all the under dash harnesses the same regardles of options?

Wink >>> this is what i did <<<

The wife's fuse-block had those two circuits melted and burned; the power-windows and blower.

I just cut those two wires loose from the fuse-block and cut far enough back to get away from the burnt copper into good wire.

I spliced new LONG 12-AWG wires onto those two wires and routed them both to my ALWAYS HOT fuse-block that I had previously installed, both on separate fuses.

This little maneuver took both of these circuits away from the fuse-block AND the key-switch.

She really likes being able to use the windows without the key.

The blower also now works without the key, but that has never been a problem, as we are not in the habit of leaving a bunch of accessories ON when we shut-down the engine; before the engine gets killed, all such electrical things get turned OFF.

There is nothing I despise more than to hop in someone's vehicle to pull it in the shop and get deafened by the radio, along with the blower roaring and wipers squeeking across dry glass.

Or the seat ALL the way up to the steering wheel, and, oh yeah, Fleas!

one of these days I will wire the windows to be always hot, but the blower motor I would use the existing power wire to power a relay, then the relay supply power to the motor control circuit. Thereby retaining the key switch control of the motor and the speed selection but taking the load off the small factory power circuit.

Don't get me started on the dog and cat haulers; hair EVERYWHERE.

And then there are the "new mothers" cars; you can smell them plumb across the lot; three months worth of dirty diapers crammed under the seats and bits of moldy food everywhere.

Many of the customers vehicles make one want a tetanus shot, immunizations, and innoculations before moving them.
