power steering

I have a 1995 clubcab cummins, and a 1997 clubcab, the 95 has 200,000 miles and the 97 125,000 miles, why does the 95 steer so much harder then the 97, the fluids are good, could it be the gear or the pump? tire pressures are at 60psi, thanks pete

Seems unlikely, but could the hydroboost brake system on the 97 affect the ease of steering?

Is this at idle? Give the same amount of throttle to each and see if it changes.
