power steering box leaking

power steering box leaking

from the pittman shaft, can the seal be replaced ? thanks.

Very good... thank you Mr Jerry. I also seen there are some rebuilds on flea bay for 200 with a core. Looks like some extra beer money for me

If it was my truck and i had a problem,,I think I would call redhead here in Seattle and see what it would cost to have them make you a box,and maybe even a quick ratio box like my Z28, but then my 06 only has less than 4,500 miles so I may never get the chance to do mine.

I second the redhead gears (somewhere in WA I think) I think my new box was @$350+core. With the redhead box and a steering brace from PSC for @$130 the truck is like brand new with 35"s and not one drop of fluid anywhere.

found the leak, its leaking from the top of the box, at the nut on the adjustment threaded stud, is there a o ring or seal ?
