My power seat is having problems. Everything works fine except for the rear of the seat cushion won't go up now. It's on the lowest setting. Feels like I'm sitting in a hole now. Anybody have a suggestion on what to start looking at to fix it?

The motor.

Mine did the same and I can't find a replacement anywhere. If you find one, let me know.

My Mom's 96 is the same way... The plastic gear inside had broke so it won't go up or down.

You can manual set the incline of the seat by twisting the screws on the motor.

As for replacement I would start at a bone yard... IMO

Mine quit a year or more ago. Searched & searched and haven't found anybody that will rebuild them. Several hauler's I've talked to have had the same motor fail. Before mine failed, I talked with a hauler that told me they all will fail. I said I didn't believe it. . .week later mine died. I think he's a Warlock and throwed a bit of toad's dust in a pot. All my lookin all I've found, an electrical engineer on one of the boards took his apart. Found that the reason his failed was due to the lubricant used in construction liquifies and coats the brushes. He simply used a solvent and cleaned the contacts off and reassembled. Motor worked fine after doing this. He said it would likely happen to his again, then went off on some engineering jargon bout poor design. His opinion, all of that design would have this problem eventually, and problem could be fixed the same way everytime it happened. I mean this is very common, like most hauler's I talk with. Sure is a market for some Starter/Alternator rebuilder with ambition.

Still down. . .not only down, but out. I'm in Lakewood, CO, trucks sittin in Great Falls, MT. I decided to switch 3.56 to 4.11 rear end. . .the easy way. Right rear axle left the truck, (no load), decided to come home for the 4th holiday. It might be ready next Tuesday. But I'll getta round to fixin that seat someday Ma.
