i was just wonderign where you guys are putting your pyro sensors in to your exhaust...the easiest spot i found to drill from was from under the vehicle but i dont kno how much it matters about how far away from the turbo i am?

Why are you going post?

Pre-turbo will give you the most accurate reading, but if you are dead set on post-turbo, be as close to the turbo as possible for a more acurate reading...

i ended up putting it just below where the manifold comes out in to the pipe..i didnt think there would be that much of a big diff in the temps. but where it is i think its close to the turbo

Did you mount your post pyro by removing the down pipe? Or were you able to mount while in the vehicle? Best I could find was a 21/64" bit. Will that work ok?

Man you'd be surprised at the difference of placement especially when the engine is under a load.

Pics are in my gallery. It was pretty easy to do by removing the passenger side plastic wheel well liner.

I put mine post turbo because of several reasons, but mostly because a) I use it mainly for shut down temp readings, and b) because I want to give DC as few excuses as possible to try to void my warranty (I'm not bombing this truck until the warranties expire).

you can do a post turbo by going underneath of the truck and it is a straight shot for the probe and youdon't need to remove anything.
