Possible fuel problem HELP!!!

hey guys i need some help with a problem i stated to have within the past week or two i have the edge juice with "hot"
now to the problem when i got the chip upgraded it ran great threw all 5 settings now when i have it on level 5 (hot) as i come up to 22-2400 RPM's in an acceleration of any grade it starts to studder like im not supplying enough fuel (note it wasnt like this till about a month after it was in) I tried to lay into it to see if it would stop at all but it doesnt just keeps studdering. Also it is slightly starting to do it in level 4 too now if i reall lay into it for a little bit on the highway, but level 3,2,1,and stock are still fine.
as of now i do not know what my fuel pressure or rail pressure is i dont have any gauge to check it, wich brings me to another question is it possible to check the fuel pressure on the common rail motors i do not have any fitting to hook a test gauge up anyweres that i see.
so what im tryin to figure out in shot is do i need a fuel pump, injection pump, or differant injectors, to handel the added power.
If so any recomendation on any pumps.

thanks guy.
hope you can help me out.

it sounds to me like you're running the rail dry. Your box on those levels is calling for a lot more fuel. The stock pump puts out very poor pressure. even a complete stock truck can run the pressure down to almost zero @ WOT. You need to upgrade the lift pump and go from there. If it doesn't help, you'll need a rail pressure gauge so you can determine what it's at and if you need more or less pressure there. you really should have it anyway when running performance boxes. It's mainly for tuning but, you can also keep a good eye on it. To much an be really bad !

get a better lift pump. I like Glacier or Airdog...FASS is an option too.

I ran the hot juice stacked with an MP8 a year ago. I had a FASS supplying 20psi to the cp3. It flat hauls butt.

I would look at a different system than the FASS....either way you are gonna have to drop the tank to do the install. theres a few tricks to the trade. If you aren't careful, you will end up like me and can't run below half a tank of fuel because the aftermarket fuel pick-up in the tank isn't placed correctly.

I would say you need a fuel system of some kind. I ran the juice with no issues before but it wasnt the HOT version. I would look into systems or run it on low settings. any fuel system will help you out, some just filter better than others is all.

I'm leaning towards a T/C shutter also. Maybe not. But I think I'd service it asap. Sometimes fresh tranny oil will do wonders.......

what would be the best fuel pump / Brand then FASS, glacier, BD or any others that i don't know of. im thinkin its the fuel pump tranny feels good so i dont think it is that
if i look in the mirror for the smoke you can see it isn't a stedy cloud it goes good then puff puff puff till i let off if it was the trans it would just keep smokin with no power right?
and i also pulled a "common rail fault" code a few days ago don't remeber the # tho.
so what shoul i look in to for fuel pumps im pretty sure i have an in tank pump.
