possible cause of my dw? and another question

So just recently my truck started doing dw , I knew it was my napa trac bar so today I got under the truck to check the play in the trac bar. Well I have zero experience with this but to me it looks like I have an enormous amount of movement. Heres a vid: Just click on it and it'll take you to the vid:

And also, Ive been wondering what axles I have, and if I really had 4.11's like the PO said so. So I got under there and saw "80" stamped there so I have the dana 80. But the other stamp is a series of other numbers, can anyone tell me what they mean. Heres a pic:Name: IMG_1978.jpg

The axle reads:
Dana
4.2434
275 6
Rev AB
05 02 94

Thanks guys

Ummm, if you saw 80 you were under the REAR......

Under the front, which is a 60, you will be able to track the steering linkage up to the box on the frame, drivers side, inside of the frame rail.........

Haha I realize that, maybe I should've been more clear when saying which end I was climbing under. And the rear gears are the ones I wanna found out for sure which ones I have.

Go to your local Dodge dealer with your VIN and get a build sheet for it. Will tell you what original gears were.

Ummm....you weren't moving your trackbar. The trackbar goes between the axle and the frame. Check it for play along the length of the bar. The easist way to find play is to lay under the front end and have someone move the steering wheel.

The link you rotated is made to do what yours did in the video. What you need to do is look for play along the length. In other words look for play from right to left when standing at the front of the truck loking staright back.

Hope this helps,

Bob

Well once more proving how much of a moron I am haha. Well I guess heres a perfect chance to bring up another issue, when my truck isnt moving or doesnt have throttle on the power steering is minimal to non existant, I have to have throttle on and be moving for my power steering not to fight me. Im saying this because having it at a stand still and having someone try to turn the wheels would be difficult. Should I just try to drain the fluid and put some fresh fluid in? Im sorry guys, Im still learning about all this. Forgive my stupidity please!

I did the test I described wit the engine off. You don't need to move the steering wheel that much, only enough to take up any slck in the steering system. The joints that move are causing the slack that you take up when you move the wheel which causes the slop in the steering.
