You'll have a poll you won't be able to make much sense of. I have had 3 lift pumps go out in < 60,000 miles, but my VP has not yet.

I lost my first lift pump at 48,000 then the second at 49,000 still on the original IP fuel pressure gauge saved my IP both times.

you could say i REPLACED my lift pump at 121k...it nor the injection were bad and i still carry it....

i did see a drop in pressure...was at 14 psi @ idle and droped to 10 psi for about a month...changed fuel filters and it didnt help....

so i went else where....

but bet your rear i carry that lift pump....i would rather have a LP at 10 psi than one at 0 on the side of the road...

but there again i dont see the GDP walbro going anytime soon....

My IP is still original with 95k and still going.

The LP I replaced a few months ago since the original was dropping down to 6 psi.

No other problems to speak of though.

Lost my first lift pump and IP at 80k. Got new pumps and a Vulcan setup. 7 months and 10k later the lift pump failed again. Now I have a FASS.

Lift pumps at 100,or so, and about 140 on the second. FASS since then.........

First IP at 200K.............last week.

FWIW, the guy at DSI Diesel in GJ, Colorado said the FASS is probably one reason the origional IP lasted as long as it did.
