pml tranny pan installed
had my tranny fluid flushed this morning and the pml tranny pan put on. tranny temps have dropped 10-15 degrees with the pml pan. just thought i would pass this info along!

excellent quality. i was also debating between the pml and the mag-hytec pan. but after reading posts- i saw that pml determined that the extra 2qt capacity was optimum for the 48re for a temperature decrease. many other posts i read doubted that the other tranny pans with a 4qt increase would add any more benefit to temperature reduction over the 2qt increase of the pml pan. also, it was hard trying to justify the extra 80.00-90.00 bucks for the mag hytec pan.

RJM glad you're happy with it, I like mine too. One word of caution - get a piece of cardboard or a fumoto valve like I have for the drain plug of the pml pan. Otherwise where they have the drain plug positioned (unless they've updated it) the fluid shoots out and hits a crossmember causing fluid to splash which is never good You'll see what I mean when you look at the drain plug's location.
