Question Who plows a 2004.5 or newer?

And what kind of plow do you use?

How does your HO CTD handle it?

I'm thinking about buying a Fisher EZ-V plow.

I noticed on the Fisher website the HO can use alot more plow models than a non-HO CTD.

That's curious because I don't think there's much difference in the weight of the two engines, at least not enough to make much difference.

Maybe it's the 11.5" vs. 10.5" rear end?

Great Ken, let me know.

For me it's either the 8.5' Western MVP or the 8.5' Fisher EZ-V.

I've plowed in the past with a regular blade so when I see those deformable blades I can tell they'll make the job 1000% easier, and quicker.

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks!

Okay, so it's a little later than Monday!

The MVP is doing just fine on my 3500 but it requires just a tad more pre-planning and such to plow with this truck than with my '03 2500 shortbox!

I also noticed that the nose drops considerably less on this truck than on the '03. And this even considering that the '03 had timbrens on the front end and my current ride is not getting the front end upgraded until next week. The 3500 drops about 1" with the plow lifted full up. This plow weighs just shy of 800 pounds I believe and yes it puts my wieght on the front axle over by about 100 pounds or 2% over.

Even with the duallies this plow does a great job, I'll try to get some pictures up in the next week or so.
