Please help need ideas (electrical)

We are getting ready for a trip and I just noticed my parking lights are not working. I know for a fact they were working yesterday Since I towed yesterday.

Here is the problem, I checked the fuse and it was of course blown to smithereens so I replaced it and still nothing. I'm getting 12v at the fuse block 12v on one pin and nothing on the other, but I think that is the way it should be.

Where do I look next?

Also, the dash lights do not work. What relay if any would control parking lamps? I checked the trailer lights relay and it does click when I Pull the headlight **** back to the parking light pos. But when I pull the relay out it does not have 12v at any of the pins

Check fuse #1 (50A) in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) under the hood.

I'm not sure of the specifics of the 97, but i have replaced a number of dodge headlight switches as a result of pulling a trailer. Certain years did not have a relay for the marker lights and and too much current was going through the headlight switch when lighting up the trailer. As a fix the burned up switch would be replaced and a relay would be added to the marker light circuit. I'd check your headlight switch directly at the pigtail with a test light. good luck and I hope I was able to help.

Stupid question but do you have a stock radio or aftermarket? I had a similar problem and it was caused by the yellow wire going to the radio shorting out. It is the signal wire to tell the radio to dim when you turn the lights on. That was an expensive dam fix.
