Plate Question

I would like to change the fuel plate in my 97 12 valve auto.
This is my everyday, work, tow vehicle.
The trans is stock, it has 4:10's .
I want to have just a little more power.
I don't want to go crazy, due to the trans being stock.
I was thinking maybe a set of 3k governor springs too.
I really don't want to sacrifice the reliability, mileage, that I have now.
I also don't want to hurt the trans.
What plate should I get?
The truck pulls a 7000# skidsteer and a 10000# mini excavator on a regular basis.

#10 tst plate, get the 3k springs, reset the timing, better air flow, free flow exhaust and you will be one happy truck owner as it will awaken your truck and if you are diligent in treating your truck as one of your pieces of equipment and what it is used for the tranny will survive, the first addition in equipment that some overlook and should be done first is the gauges, pyrometer, boost, fuel pressure. When you start changing the fueling as you probably know you create more heat which needs to be monitered. Call one of the vendors, piers, tst and tell them what you want to do with the truck. HAHAHAHA
The BOMBing bug has bitten another. It takes about 6 months and a couple of mods to really set hold. I wouldn't be surprised to see you posting a smiley alongside your new DTT in a couple of months!!!!
