Plate now full forward!!Wheeewwee!
I finnaly got around to sliding my plate today and man what a difference!!! I think it helped that i aready have some type of aftermarket plate (Banks?) It was in the stock position, and i put it all the way forward along with the AFC. Had to do some low boost smoke adjustments but over all it like it alot. I have only seen 950 EGT but thats only hitting 60mph for a sec. I am seeing 25-27psi, but thats what i saw before. Can i adjust my Banks waste gate or should i pinch the signal line? I also need to ID my plate. Heres some pics.

How come? Not flat enough? I was thinking #11 or even #10, just a guess though, i havent seen either. Tonight i hit 1100 egt and i let off cause it looked like it was climbing fast. Im only getting 25 psi, but i think the WG is kicking in. How should i get more boost? Adjust the WG or disable it. If i disable it, could i over spool the turbo? Its got the 14cm housing on it. My guess is that i dont have enough boost for the top end fuel so thats why my egts are kind of high?

I am willing to bet that you have a #8 plate in the picture. That is just like the one in my truck.
Anybody know why I don't feel that much of a differance with the plate all the way back and all the way forward?

BPonci, you wouldnt happen to know what HP that customer got from the plate do ya?
#8??? Geez, i would think my egts would be more out of control since i have a 5spd 215 pump? Ive only got BHAF straight pipe in the air flow dept. I guess its enough.
MnTom, my guess is cause its an auto and you just dont get that positive pull of a manual.

The 62402 Banks plate is awful close in bottom side fueling to a #10 TST, although, like many of the Banks plates, it cuts back on high RPM fuel.

DZLPWR,
Not even close to a #10 profile.

What do you mean by not being close? Less agressive than a #10 or more. Do note that i have not seen many different fuel plates. Just some pics online and the one ive got.
