pivot bracket

Ok I was looking at my truck today and found a hole the size of a golf ball in the rear bracket that holds the rear leaf spring to the frame. Can I get one off of a 150? Are the 250 different in any way then a 150? In the service manual they look the same just not sure if the 250 is heavier duty then the 150. Called many junkyards around here all they have are 150's

Thanks
will try to get a pic up so you can see what i am talking about.

That's scary!

This has come up before, the hangers are the same on the 1/2 ton trucks.

You must be right on the ocean to get rust like that in FL.

I believe the sructural integrity of that unit has been compromised by oxidation.

In other words...

It's rusted so bad I would not tow with it again. You are asking for trouble.
