A-Pillar Gauge Pod 2+1=3 or 2+2=4
Well I'm about ready to order some gauges and in searching I see that nobody offers a 3 pod for the A-pillar. But I've heard lots of people say they took a double and a single and trimmed it to make a triple. I've also heard a few comments on taking two doubles and making a Quad. I've also heard some comments about the upper ones being hard to see...
Anybody got any pictures of these?

Do you have a picture? About to put gauges in my truck and looking for ideas. Thinking of putting boost and pyro on the A-Pillar, moving the OD switch to the column, then putting in tranny temp where the OD switch was. Want to put in a tach too but not quite sure where that should go. My 82 ramp truck has it on the steering column.

http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/int...dash-pods.html This is a another alternative. As far as a tach, I seen a really nice mount that replaced the top plastic peice on the top of your steering colum. I cannot find who makes it now though... I wish I could!

With that said, the only downfall with this steering pod is the isspro tach is too deep, meaning the bulb into the socket for tach lighting will cause the tach not to sit properly in depth. W/O the bulb, the tach's finish rim just meets the edge of the pod. I figured the exchange for function was worth not having it lit.

I have one of these on both my 1993's, and they both hold the isspro tach from PDR. Trust me, they look awsome, and are truly functional. People who know nothing about our trucks figure it is a stock item because the pod blends in well with the column. I cannot think of a better place for a tach, especially since the field of view is also looking at your OEM dash guage cluster. Speedometer should be in direct view of the tach, and vise versa, I feel.
