Westach fuel pressure guage. I went cheap and bought the bullet mount for it but couldn't find a suitable place for it. I ended up sticking it on the floor between the power port and the 4x4 shifter box. It actually looks OK especially at night as the light illuminates the recessed area around the power port. Pics as soon as they are approved.....

That's a good idea. I'm gonna take look and maybe put mine there. So what if you have to look down to see them, it looks like an easy install and no holes in the dash. Cool.

My psi is 6 at idle and drops to around 4 under acceleration. I haven't made a complete full throttle pass yet but a quick one netted a lowest of 3.5psi..

This is definitely lower than a 2nd gen unless the 2nd gen is losing it's lift pump.

i've got a lube oil pressure gauge there too... i have it sitting in a piece of 2" abs drain pipe... some cheap electric partshouse gauge which isn't great, but for $15cdn, it works

PVC and ABS can be turned into some nice gauge holders. Here is a shot of the one I made for my RockCrawler, it is made from PVC fittings and plexglas. I had to take it out a couple of years ago when I put the full cage in.

Question, how do you get the shifter boot assembly off?

I didn't have to take the boot off. The guage just wedges between the housing and the bottom of the dash where the power port is. The wiring goes up under the dash. I initially was going to mount it on top of the dash beside my EGT guage but it just didn't look right. I got it from Genos and their website only gives you the option of black face so it is probably for the best that it's away from the other guages. I got their new catalog and it gives you the option of black or white face!!

Ya, I saw that add for the white faced Westach Fuel Pressure Gauge and have been thinking about getting one to see what kind of pressure my AirDog is putting out. But I can't figure out where to put it.

I guess the guage just needed to get broken in because today it cruises at just a hair below 8psi but still drops to 3.5 psi under a hard throttle pull....

I'm in the same boat. I'm eyeballing the cubbyhole just above the shifter boot as a possible location for the fuel pressure gauge. The reason is it's still somewhat easy to see from the driver position and also the gauge light will help add some light down on the floor console.
