PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow Beam Driving Lights
I've installed the PIAA 520i Plasma Ion Yellow Beam Driving Lights (#5293) but have not connected the realy power wire yet and I'm a little confused as to if they are full driving lights, fog lights or both.
In California, the correct way to connect driving lights is via the regular lights high-beam circuit and fog lights via the regular lights low-beam circuit.
The box they came in, as stated above state that they are driving lights made for inclement weather (Rain, Fog, Snow, & Dust) but if, being driving lights, they are to work with the regular lights high-beam circuit. But, wouldn't the regular lights high-beams work negatively with Fog, Rain, Snow ect... ?
PIAA referes to to this light as a 520 Series light and the only difference between the "Driving Light" and "Fog Light" is the lens.
Does anyone have experience with this light?

There will be times at night when you don't want the PIAAs on. There will be times during the day when you don't want headlights but only the PIAAs. Therefore, don't wire them into any existing circuit. Wire them to a manual switch so you can choose when to use them.
