Has anyone camped at Perry Lake? I'm thinking about make a reservation for Memorial weekend. I have never been there. Any good, bad, or other advice? Thanks.

per my handle here, i went to KSU... Tuttle is a decent campground, not a lot of "extras" to do around there... most things are centered around the university & Fort Riley... when i was going to school, there were some good golf courses, plus now there is Colbert Hills... Aggieville is a good place to have some adult beverages... Konza prairie is a good place to hike & see some wildlife

I'm from Manhattan. I will agree not too much to do around Tuttle. If you into off roading there's the ORV near the north side of the lake in Randolph. some great ATV/Jeep trails. I like going up on my free weekends. But only enough there for maybe a day of riding. Memorial weekend is usually pretty busy at the ORV, lot of people come down from Omaha, Lincoln, and up from around Wichita and Salina areas and make a weekend of camping out of it. The fishing is kinda hit and miss, sometimes i have great luck and other times i can't catch a thing. lol.
