Performance/ Mileage--Weather?

Has anyone else noticed a big difference in power {mostly low rpm} and mileage with warm weather? In even 45* weather verses 70* temp.s I notice a BIG change in torq. and smoothness in acceleration. It runs like a different truck. Mileage jumps from 18mpg,up to 21+. Is this normal for a 24V/6spd. ? If not what should I look for,,,, IAT,MAP ?????????

That could very well be attributed to the change from winter fuel to summer fuel.

Winter fuel being a blend of #1 and #2 Diesel.
Summer fuel being straight #2.

Warmer weather itself contributes, but that sudden of a change has to be the fuel.

I assume your talking about an increase in power and mileage.

No its not the fuel, I notice these changes on the same tank,if I drive to a different climate the performance changes with it. And before someone asks its not elevation either. If it was a gas engine I`d say it was lean. What do you guys think????
