What Performance to Buy
Ok guys i just bought a new 07 Mega-cab Auto! Love it Dont miss the stick.
I SOLD all my stuff on the truck. I need to know what to buy for as a BOX or DOWNLOADERit is a 5.9 cummins to. so lets here it.

I was just stating what I noticed when looking in the classifieds....I don't have any info on why..other then almost every single person who tries Smarty loves it and all the good talk on the board is causing an exodus of BD
...plus didn't smarty beat the BDCL program on the dyno?????

i love my bullydog, and know many people that love theirs. I wouldnt trade it for anything. And i will never own a smarty. Not on this 5.9 cummins. Maybe on my new truck if its the only thing available.

The bullydog on my 06 threw codes like no tomorrow and lit up the dash like a christmas tree!! They got it to stop and once they did I sold it got a smarty and the power is smoother comes on stronger and overall is a better product in my opinion. The BD Ran awesome on my 05 except the occasional over boost code but the 06 didn't like it at all???? Just my .02

Well to start with i like the auto better! I didnt have the money to throw a GEARVENDER OVERDRIVE ON.Made better sence to buy a auto for me anyway.
For as BDTD I LOVED MINE ! I just got my PMT hope to have it on by the weekend.People will be happy with what ever they have just how we are Thats what makes the world go around

In this thread, the standard Smarty on 9 and the Crazy Larry tunes were equal....except Scary Larry cranked out an additional 34hp. The hot smarty beat the Scary Larry by 11hp.....on an 06 truck, which is interesting. The Bullydog Engineer that wrote Scary Larry says it only works on 05's.....but there have been a few reports that Scary Larry on 06's exceed Crazy Larry by 40hp (or 34hp in this case.)
I would LOVE to see a HOT smarty compared to Scary Larry on an 05 truck...with dyno results!

I personally have been finding that a large part of the people that are happy with Bully Dog have never tried anything else. Bully Dog works, but IMHO there is better out there. I used to run a bully dog, Im sure glad that I have since tried different products. How many times have you seen a Bully Dog rep on here answering questions? I can remember a couple of posts last year, but that is about it. Marco and Bob are on here constantly answering questions. Try calling Bully Dog and getting a custom tune for your unit, like what Diablosport will do for you.
The shops that ram is talking about is NADP, they will sell one if the customer is totally stuck on one,,but they will try hard to push them in a different direction, wether it is a smart or a ppe or whatever.
