what does your coils say on them? Mine say kore HD. The reason im asking I ran into a guy at the dodge dealer and his said kore race and he thought I was given the other coils, but paid for the race. Just curious. Thanks

I know there have been a couple differant ones. Mine is an older kit and it says Kore HD as well.

I bought mine used. It was one of the special package deals Boardman made up. Mine has the Bilistien shocks. I actually blew one of the front ones out, so I need to rebuild it. I have been talking to Lorenz and might re-valve them to get a little better ride. I think mine rides real harsh on the front end. However I will be putting a custom front bumper on, and with the extra weight it might smooth it out a bit.

AFAIK there is only two kore springs. A inf. rate one and a set rate one. One is not the 'race' vs the other. You probably couldn't even tell back to back.

Pretty sure my KORE Chase said VR on the coils....

I believe there are a few differant. I think there are a couple differant HD springs, along with the new variable rate springs. They are/were both available on the race system. The HD's are old style and the variable rate coils come with the new systems.

I am still trying to figure out the HD spring delima myself. I think there are standard rate for stock trucks, and an HD for trucks with winch Bumpers. I could be way off on this I do not know for a fact. I have tried calling KORE but they won't ever return my calls. Talking with Lorenze, this is what he made it sound like. So if anyone knows for sure please chime in.

Like I stated above I bought my kit used from my best friend. He had an aftermarket bumper on and the truck rode AWSOME! I have the stock bumper and it rides like CRAP!!!

KORE only sells one type of coil for all thier systems now. It's the VR (Variable Rate) and depending if you have a CTD or Hemi Engine (Hemi a little softer rate than the CTD). The coils know say alpha side (driver side) on the coil and I forgot what it says on the passenger side. (too lazy to go out and look)

The older systems have HD Coil in the Race and 2" Coil for the leveling system and Pace Systems.
