passenger side front speaker

so i installed a aftermarket stereo and ever since the front right speaker doesnt work. the tweeter does but not speaker. i am getting power to the speaker so i figured that it was a bad speaker. i put a stock speaker from a 98 1500 in it which only had like two wires compared to the 10 with some wierd littlecrossover thing mounted on the back of speaker. i am very confused because that speaker didnt work either. so now my sound is very bad in truck

Was your stock stereo an Infinity?
If so there is an amp in each door that needs power run to it.
I've never looked hard enough but it may be the weird little crossover thing you talk about.
On some aftermarket stereos you have to use the automatic antenna wire to power the door amps.
