Paint for lawn tractor deck...
Anyone ever find any paint or have any ideas what might stick on the bottom side of a mowing deck? I would like to paint mine with something to keep it from rusting any further, and to ease clean-up. I put on some really good frame paint about two years ago, but that is all gone already. Any ideas?

POR15 is good stuff but expensive for a lawn mower deck.
It's a paint used on frames, axles and the like. It's black and takes some work to get the metal ready but it is very glossy.
If it was me I'd just clean out all the grass real good seen you won't use it is winter and just primer it and paint it black and just redo it every year, or thats what me and my dad do.
You may try a rattle can of under coat or spary on bed liner.

Pretty tough area to keep from rusting for sure.
Once you do get it painted again, be sure to not mow your grass unless it is dry, that wet grass clinging to the deck is what is causing the problem in the first place

Hammerite works great. Have special goo it so it can be applied right over rust and also help prevent it. Can get an most hardware stores for $10 quart. Looks cool too.
