P7100 question
I still would like to know what the item is for that has the lock wire and the lead seal on it. I think it is on the screw that is a socket head screw with no place to put the hex wrench. I was told that it is the cold Idle adjustment . When I start up my truck even when it is fairly warm it idle at about 500 RPM but comes up in a short time it did not do this when it had less miles (38,000) on it. Is that where the setting is to change the cold idle?

I think you are talking about the plug that opens to give access to the governor springs? There is a idle adjustment bolt on the bottom back side under all the linkage.
