P7100 in line fuel pump starting point
I need help in locating the starting point for the fuel stop plate. I installed a Banks plate about 2 years ago and didn't tighten the screws (?) tight enough and it has slipped from its original location. I want to start over but not sure where to start; I hate the trial and error type of adjustment. My thought is to install a GSK while I have it down. I also found a new pump for a 8.3 300HP and mine is for 5.9 230HP CPL1553 engine, is there any draw back on installing the 8.3 pump on a 5.9 engine? Any feedback would be greatly appricated.

Just off the cuff, start in the centre. Most of the pumps were calibrated for the plate being in the centre, however depending on the barrel, delivery valves etc, it may have been foward or back depending on the bench test flow results at the factory.
My stocker was about 2/3 forward, so adding a plate and sliding it was not as eventful as most.
