P2146 Error code Whats next?

P2146 Error code Whats next?

So I just paid off my truck last week. Heading up the interstate yesterday on a 6 hour drive. Running along about 73mph and the check engine light comes on with immediate loss of power. It must have gone into limp mode. I have a programmer, but was running in stock mode. After checking the code, and trying to clear it a few times (unsuccessfully). I decided to load the towing program. After the program loaded successfully I started the truck and it ran rough at first then began to clear up. After idling and revving it slightly to listen for any issues, I began the trip back home. Ran fine coming back. Cleared the code, and all seems well. I'm going to change everything this weekend, Oil, Fuel filter and probably try something to clean the injectors with Seafoam. They recommended filling the filter canister with the seafoam and running it straight with no fuel dilution. So...here's my question. How long till it happens again, and am I looking at buying a new set of injectors? Truck now has 167,000 w no valve adjustment. Thanks in advance for any help or recommendations. Jamie

Happened again...P2146

Here it is almost two months later and it has happened again.........Code P2146.
Cant get it to clear this time. Guess I'll check the harness in the morning. Hope thats what it is, I really can't afford injectors right now. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have had the same thing happen to me 3 times, about 1 month apart from each other. Did you ever figure anyting out or what the issue was?

proper way to test the harness and injectors is to remove it from the truck. a bad injector will also throw that same code. we see more injectors bad than harness but not saying it isn't a harness doing it. reason for disconnecting it is that it will have incorrect readings when you ohm it out. an injector should read .0-1.0 ohm. anything out of that range is bad.
