I have searched the forums & didn't come up with any firm answers so I'm starting this thread. I was getting on the highway the other day & my truck threw the CEL, everything seemed to be fine so I went on to the house & scanned it, only one code, P0868, low trans fluid line pressure. Feels like it's either slipping in first or not dropping back down to first. Manually shifting to first doesn't make any difference. Seems to be fine when it cools down. Shifts out through 4th & TC lockup as normal. Wondering if anybody else has had ONLY this code & what was done to correct it. My truck only has 65k miles on it, is pretty much stock (no programmers). It's due for a fluid & filter change but is there anything else that's known to throw this code? Thanks in advance.

Wow...NO replies on this one....
Anyway, just to update in case anybody else searches this code, it was solenoids. Changed to upgraded units & did flush & filter. Now better than ever.

Glad to hear it is fixed. I am looking into doing the solenoid upgrade as a preventitive measure, though the truck has over 100k miles on it already. Couldn't hurt, right?

I'm looking at buying an 06 whenever you pull out it hesistates as if your pulling a load and it had a check engine light i checked and it was throqung code P0868 the low line pressure code. Is it most likely the solenoid if so where is the place too buy an upgraded one a link would be a big help
