P0253 and P0236
Rebuilt injection pump with 20K miles and running a TST Original Powermax. Was running 30-40mph and truck sputtered and spit the above codes. Runs fine, but has anyone gotten these 2 codes together? The P0236 from reading some posts points to a possible MAP sensor. Thanks

253-236 code
Homermandy I got a 234,236 code that was cleared and has not come back.
Don't know what the 253 code is but the 236 says (turbo charge boost sensor A circuit range/performance). The 234 code is a overboost code. I don't where that comes from my truck is bone stock! The problem I have now is I have about 5 inches of boost until it warms up and then it's ok, normal boost! If I take a wrench and move the waste gate rod when it's cold it runs normal when it's cold. It's got me stumped. Captain57

Codes Again
This morning on the highway I got a miss that threw CEL and turns out to be P0252 and P0253. Hmmm. 1st VP44 went 95K miles, this one only 13K miles. All with an original Powermax and 275 injectors.
