I am getting these 2 codes so I replaced the valve cover gasket and could see the wires in the old one so I thought it was fixed. I test drove it and it drove fine til I put it on the floor one time then it started messing up again. I parked the ruck for 2 days then cleared the codes and it cranked and ran fine for 200 miles but I never floored it cause I needed to make it home.
Could I have a bad #3 injector too??

wire could have come loose on the top of the injector had that happen

I had the same problem, but mine was with #4. I replaced the valve cover gasket and it seemed to fix it, however, 25 miles later same code and problem. I had lost the injector. Replaced that, just barely covered by the cummins warranty. unfortunately I didn't get money for the gasket, but oh well, now i don't have to worry about that for a while.
