Overdrive cut in rpm comparison

Overdrive cut in rpm comparison
I did my first mod to my 94 12v yesterday, I tabbed the KDP replaced the crank seal etc etc.. My seal kit came with a sleave for the crank for a fresh running surface, parts came to 200.00 from local supplier..
I did a bunch of small things along the way, just cleaning, checking settings etc etc..
The truck would hunt between 3 and od on the highway previously, I cleaned all the battery connections during the kdp repair, I find now , it shifts differently, I had never seen it shift into OD at 80 kmhr which is about 48 ish or so for mph..
Is that the cut in everyone else is seeing? I have only had the truck for 2 weeks, so my overdrive cut in is all new to me..
94 with 190,000 km's the KDP had not moved at all it was below the case surface, it took me about 2.5 hours along with other stuff done, its not a bad repair, and I used the old seal to drive in the new one by just running the old on a sander for a minute to make the Outside diameter a few thou smaller, for those that are looking for the seal tool..
Now its power time..

The OD is adjustable , up to a point , where you put it is depending on your needs , playing with the go peddle , I can get it to come in as low as about 35 & if I am getting on it , not till above 50 , so yours may be close .

Factory spec for OD lock is 48 mph.
The only way it's adjustable is by a computer reflash.
Adjusting the TPS only changes lockup according to the throttle position.

Under normal driving mine goes into 3rd at about 42 mph and into 4th at about 46mph. This shift to OD drops rpm's to about 1200. It just bogs down hard. Now that I have the 3k gsk and some more snort, I can stay in it a little longer, but fuel economy suffers.
