Outlook Monitor Install?
Just got a new Bully Dog outlook monitor for my '04 2500 and noticed the OBD-2 cable was missing (box had factory seal on it). Called factory and they said this happens sometimes and they would ship one to me. I went ahead and drilled/tapped for the pyro. and installed all the other cables and the monitor started working (EGT, fuel press, water temp,HP/Tq) . According to the instructions I was supposed to connect a power wire to the fuse panel and connect the OBD cable? Does this make sense?

Without an OBD-2 cable it is reading fuel rail pressure, boost, EGT, HP/Torque and all of these values appear to be correct. I'm still not sure if I need the OBD-2 cable but it is on the way.

I just installed mine yesterday and I believe that you need the OBD for the other functions like tire size and the shift on the fly function for the triple dog. and speedo!
