My truck just failed the inspection because it has aftermarket tints on the front sidewindows and it's illegal here, but if you have original dark windows, like in the back side of the cab, it's legal.I hope you know what I mean.

So is there a place where I can buy dark fornt side windows with no aftermarket tint on them?

what a kooky law... in TX, guys w/ dark windows just roll down the front windows and pull the fuse. no law requiring windows

Well you -need- tinted windows in texas. Further north theyre optional.
I like that fuse idea.. heck, I might be doing that soon myself.

To answer your question NO you cant buy dark factory tinted windows, as being it is illegal in some states and thats why you cant buy them.

In Va if the window is there it's gotta go up and down, at least on the drivers side. Never had a problem with the inspection guys with limo tint on the truck "which was there when i bought it" they don't check darkness, but the state police carry a light meter to test it and can pull you over for it. After three yrs I found the cop with nothing better to do than write me for tint. Never mind there was 6 of us running almost 70 in a 60, I was third in line. oh well, i miss my limo tint.

Yeah, Well, we tried that fuse thing ,didnt work, they wanted to see are those windows tinted, they allways check that.

I just took tints of, bye bye macho look...

But the good thing is that it's registered now.

Still, they cant say are those original or aftermarket dark windows. So I'll ask again, are there any aftermarket dark windows for sale?
