Herb, I've been following some of the posts you've made around here and can't wait until the first time you drive that truck after the ATS is in. I've driven my dad's gut-less '95 automatic and when you compare that one to a truck with a transmission that can actually handle the power, it just makes you smile. So, in short, I wish you the best with the ATS and I wish I would be there the first time you go to pull a load with it.

Congradulations on the upgrade! I hope that this will solve the problem and you will be able to finally see what a CTD can do. Where are you going to have it put in? Also just wondering if you finally got the engine problems fixed? Good luck

I have a customer that just had an ATS trans/convertor/ebrake, and adjustable lockup feature installed in his 96. It's amazing what it did for low rpm operation. Put alot more drivability into the truck. He's very happy. Kinda wishing I would have at least bit the bullet and put a better convertor in when I swapped mine out last month. I just threw another stocker in it as service contract covered mine.

i have an after maket warranty with Warrenty Direct http://www.warrantydirect.com/warran...ct/contact.asp
and they allowed 2800 toward a transmission and torque converter. they allowed me to get the ats setup (i paid the diffence).
good investment for them as i don't think i will have tranny problems again during the life of the aftermarket warranty
