Howdy again from Wyoming,

Haven't posted in quite some time. On the way home today, my lift pump gave up the fight, had to have a D-max tow me home

So, at 57k miles I ordered a ADII 165 to fix the lift pump problem. Been wanting to do it for a long time, guess I just waited a few miles too long.

Anyway, thinking about the next mod. I just added a flatbed and am towing more than before (35' toy hauler and 40' enclosed car trailer, both pretty heavy). Multiple use truck (daily driver, towing 21K+ at 6000ft el and above, mild off-road/hunting & fishing). Not my hot rod, though I do enjoy the power I have fast bikes and car projects for that.

So... thinking of starting a little mod fund and am thinking about the possibilities. Things I'm considering:

Turbo upgrade (single, twins are going to be out of budget)
Different programmer (likely a Smarty)
Cam and/or injectors
Other???

Looking for opinions and advice as it has been said that a wise man learns from his mistakes where a very wise man learns from the mistakes of others

Forgot to say what I would like to achieve.

- More towing power
- Lower EGTs
- Better MPG towing and empty
- Maintain or improve drive-ability
- Can't forget the fun factor!
