Optima batteries RED YELLOW BLUE ??

What's best on our 2nd gen? and what's the differences between red yellow or blue?

Red is standard, yellow is deep cycle and blue is marine. I would get the yellow or blue.

that's ok! what means deep cycle? and what amp, like my standard dodge batteries or high?

My last pair of redtops lasted 12 years.
The blue and yellow tops are an overkill unless you plan on running your batteries down so far
that they won't start your truck and then need the qualities of a deep cycle.

Thumbs up Optima's

Just changed out my Optima's Red Top's went 7 years, went to blue tops, liked the wing nuts for for acessorys about 155.00- each at Costco, if you have a problem with them , no questions asked, full refund cannot beat that!
